About Layout One

This page features an combo ‘Branding & Nav’ header, making it ideal for use when the website structure calls for a modest number of top-level menu items. If a more extensive menu is required, consider Layout Three, which has a full-width horizontal menu with more room in desktop mode.

Perform a content audit and make up a content outline, then consider how many groupings and headings will be necessary in your website's main menu to determine whether or not this approach will make sense for your project.

About Theme Zero

Theme Zero, a prototype microsite, is a demonstration of Line49's belief in fundamental website design priniples. Featuring a functional layout  intentionally devoid of style, this demo site eschews the bells, whistles and gadgets found in typical commercial web templates in favour of a simple list of foundational web layout options.
